Today we want to talk about the “ears” (orelletes in Ibizan language), is a dessert really typical from Ibiza, although is also cooked in Cataluña and Valencia. It is not light but it is perfect to accompanied by your coffee and your breakfast or your the after the lunch.
It´s a really easy recipe, and you will be a heroe for your friends if you cook that!!
1/4 kg flavour
A splash of aniseed liqueur,and some grains of anis
A small glass of sugar
A dash of olive oil
How can I cook?
First of all, we beat the eggs and we add the flavour to knead, we add the sugar, anis and the rest of the flavour too to stiff dough. We let rest during 20 minutes.
We do small parts and we make a ear figure about 15 centimetres and 1 centimetre thick. We put in the saucepan with the hot olive oil and we sprinkle the sugar.
We let outside and it will be ready to eat, have a nice meal!
