It is likely that if you are not from Ibiza, Balears or Cataluña this word it doesn´t mean anything to you but here it is really common nowadays.
Torrada means that you cook the food in the small stove and you can eat your products toasted and roasted.
This way of cooking is not exclusive from Spain, it is also well known in Europe, there are some countries than also cook fish and rost beef.
And today we want to give you a recipe of torrada´s soup really usual nowadays.
What can I have?
- 1/2 kg mincing meat ( you can mix beef and lamb, but you can use double part of lamb)
- 4 bread toasted
- 1/2 l beef broth
- 2 lettuce´s leafs
- 1 Celery, 2 onions, 1 carrot, mint, parsil, thyme
- Olive oil
- Safron, pepper and salt
How can I cook?
First, we mix the meat and we do mix balls. Later we can put a bit of oil in the pain and when it will be ready we can add the chopped veggetables.
Later we can add the broth and when it boils add the meatballs and the vegettables cooked and the species. We can let during 20 minutes cook on a slow heat.
Later, we can put in the saucepan bread toasted, mint, parsil, meatballs and the rest of the ingredientes. We cook on a slow heat during half an hour and it will be ready to eat. Have a nice meal!
