In Heaven’s doors are now open for Ibiza Foodie

Yesterday we had the chance to try out the new menu of In Heaven 2017 created by chef Raúl Gutiérrez, Executive Chef at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza.

In Heaven is a gastronomic show held every Wednesday and Saturday at 9:00 pm on the spectacular skylounge The Ninth, from which you can enjoy 360 degree views of the entire beach of Platja d’en Bossa.

The menu consists of 5 acts. All of them interspersed by live performances by a group of more than 10 artists from different disciplines like dance, music, magic and acrobatics.

The first dish is called “Corral de Ibiza“, an original creation of 3 different combinations of flavors: truffled mashed potatoes with quail egg, corn cream with fried capers and crunchy corn and a Thai-style papaya salad.

Afterwards they surprise us with an “ice barbecue” containing a fresh sea bass Ceviche and a Mango cocktail with tiger’s milk and gin. The original presentation surprises all the diners and the the combination of sweet and sour tastes is very interesting.

The third act is accompanied by a show cooking, the same chefs are responsible for finishing the plate on the stage before serving it. It consists in a cone of goat cheese foam with fig fillet and should be eaten directly with your own hands.

The fourth act is the main course, Beef with red curry, squash puree and crispy bread. It is necessary to emphasize the incredible show created by Moisés Berlanga. The artists are authentic professionals who transport you to a magical world and make you enjoy your dinner all evening.

To end this menu a special dessert that does not leave anyone indifferent, the doll of good and evil. A curious dessert presented by what would be an adorable and radical garden dwarf containing delicious praline chocolates with spicy touches.

The tasting menu has a price of 80 euros per diner including the show of almost 3 hours of duration and the incredible views. Without a doubt an indispensable event for all those who love art, gastronomy and the fusion of all these ingredients with live music.
