Wine tours at Ibiza

Autumn is here and Harvest is coming. In Ibiza we have a special field created for the best wines thanks to the wine makers and the farmers, to achieve the best wine in Balears.

The weather is one of the principal advantage of this field and they are named as “Vino de la tierra Illes Balears” where you can find many types of grapes:

Black grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Monastrell, Tempranillo, Fogoneu, Callet, Manto negro, Pinot Noir

White grapes: Chardonnay, Moscatel de Alejandria, Moscatel, Moll, Parellada, Macabeo, Malvasía Aromática, Riesling, Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc.

From Ibiza Foodie we want to suggest you a wine tours to make a winetourist route:

Go to the north of the island, Sant Mateu d´Aubarca, where you can see most of the wines of the island. Start your visit at Can Maymó and Sa Cova (remember take your time to visit also Cala d´Aybarca with an amazing landscape).

You can also go later to the rest of the cellers : Can Rich de Buscatell in San Antoni de Portmany, where you can find some of the best wines, olive oil and Ibizan herb. They also use ecological agriculture, modernity and tradition.

In Ses Salines, you can see where they do Ibizkus, Totem Wines is their name, you should visit!

We recommend you that use three or four days to do this route, using autumn afternoons to enjoy the landscape amont the vineyards.
