Pepe Rodríguez, Xavier Agulló, Borja Beneyto, Belén Parra and Gonzalo Aragüez, will be the jury of the solidarity competition Unic Chef 2017
This year we are happy to participate in the Unic Chef 2017 project where we will face other bloggers and journalists to achieve the 2,000 kilos of food that the winner will assign to Cáritas, Banc dels Aliments, Food for Ibiza and Red Cross.
Unic Restaurant, located in Migjorn Ibiza Suites & Spa and in collaboration with Sa Brisa Gastro Bar & Catering, will gather expert chefs and gastronomists in the fourth edition of this consolidated appointment with the kitchen that is professionalized for a good cause.
The fourth edition of the unconventional kitchen competition Unic Chef 2017 will count on August 9th with a jury of weight, composed by the renowned Pepe Rodríguez chef of El Bohío, Xavier Agulló of 7Caníbales, Borja Beneyto of Cuaderno Matoses, Belén Parra de Gastronomistas and Gonzalo Aragüez, who leads the gastronomic project of Sa Brisa Gastro Bar & Catering. In front of the kitchen stoves of the Unic Restaurant, located in Migjorn Ibiza Suites & Spa, will face journalists and gastronomic bloggers from Ibiza like Antonio Beneyto, collaborator of media like The World of Baleares or Ibiza 5 Sentidos, Maria Jose Amengual, who leads the Blog Dit i Fet and is a regular collaborator of Directo al Paladar, Germán Rodríguez, who writes in Face Food Mag, and myself Maria Andreu coordinator of Ibiza Foodie.
Each of the participants will sponsor an NGO to which they will allocate the 2,000 kilos in food and non-perishable effects, donated by the organization of the event to the winner of this contest, among them are Diocesan Caritas, Banc dels Aliments d’Eivissa i Formentera, Food for Ibiza and Red Cross.
Unic Chef is already a consolidated event with the gastronomy and with the solidarity of Ibiza, receiving life for the fourth year and that in its previous edition managed to reunite to Djs like the winner of 2015, Sebastián Gamboa, Anna Tur, Dj Bilbadino and Dj Oliver. This event has served for journalists and politicians in Ibiza to demonstrate their expertise with the recipes proposed by the chef who leads the gastronomic project of Unic Restaurant, David Grussaute.
Unic Chef highlights the importance of the main gastronomic critics of Spain visit our island, value our cuisine and spread the incredible appeal that we have in Ibiza in this area. For this reason, and in the framework of this experience, both the jury and the participants of this event will participate in the tasting of a dinner and a meal at Unic Restaurant and at Sa Brisa Gastro Bar & Catering, aimed at disseminating the work of Fusion and the putting in mouth of the best products and recipes of Ibiza fused with kitchens of the world.
