Friday October 18th and Saturday 19th is the XII Edition of the Tapaví in Santa Eulária des Riu. More than twenty restaurants participate in these Popular Gastronomic Days whose main objective is to publicize the cuisine of Santa Eulària in a festive format.
In total, more than 12,000 tastings will be offered, in which dishes such as black rice with Ibizan cuttlefish, gold ingot with hake and squid in its ink, shrimp with tempura with popcorn powder and green mustard mayonnaise or lamb meatballs with gravy vegetables are just some of the specialties with which these restaurants will surprise the public, who can choose 7 consumptions for 15 Euros.
The event, which has a marked playfulness, will also feature live musical performances during the two days. In addition to the traditional wine bar, the organization will also have a coffee caleta and cocktail bar and as a novelty this year, there will be a contest for the best tapa tasting in which visitors will be the ones to score the best tapa.
These days in addition to publicizing the wide gastronomic offer of Santa Eularia town, it also wants to promote the restaurants that will remain open during the winter season.
The Councilor for Economic Promotion, Miguel Tur, said that «It is one of the gastronomic actions that are carried out in the municipality with more experience and more consolidated trajectory, and without a doubt, it is a good occasion to test Santa Eulària gastronomy in a festive atmosphere».
