Cocktail: Chili Mango Mojito by Josefran Martins | IbizaFoodie
We recently went to visit one of our favorite places, The Beach Club at Hard Rock Hotel, and once there we asked to one of the best bartenders in Ibiza, Josefran Martins Silva, what’s the cocktail most liked among the customers, either for its taste, its freshness, its originality…
And the answer was clear: The Chili Mango Mojito
This is a variation of the original mojito, where in addition to the typical ingredients, it brings a touch of mango, spicy red chili and cinnamon. You will see that the recipe is very simple and yet the result is spectacular:
Chili Mango Mojito
- 50 ml of Ron White
- 4 pieces of lime
- 20 ml mango puree
- 1 jet of ‘Spicy’ (French cinnamon and spicy red chili syrup)
- Brown sugar
- Crushed ice
- Fresh leaves of mint
In a glass of mojito, we take the pieces of lime and brown sugar. Crush well with a mortar. Add the crushed ice almost to the top, and then put the white rum, mango puree and a dash of ‘Spicy’ syrup. With the help of a long spoon mix well.
Finally fill to the brim with ice and decorate with a chilli and a few leaves of mint. You will see that the result is a different, delicious and very refreshing cocktail.
