Learn how to make Porridge | IbizaFoodie
We are travelling to United Kingdom to learn about a very trendy recipe called Porridge. Rich in fibre and carbohydrates, just perfect for breakfast to start your day with a lot of energy.
The way to make it is very easy, you need to mix oats with water, salt, sugar and cook it slowly.
Follow these proportions:
100 gr. Oats
1/2 Water or Milk
Salt and Sugar
First clean the oats in a bowl. Heat water and the cleaned oats, salt and sugar. You must stir until you get the “Porridge”. Finally let it cool down a little bit.
Now, the funniest part is about to come… Be creative and add all the toppings you want. Fruits are perfect (banana, kiwi, pinneapple or strawberry…), also nuts (walnuts, hazelnut, cashew…), jam or honey.
