Third edition of the Fira Sabors del Camp i de la Mar | IbizaFoodie
This weekend, the Sa Blanca Dona fairgrounds will host the third edition of the Fira Sabors del Camp i de la Mar, an initiative of the Department of Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs of the Consell de Ibiza.
This year, the fair focuses on dishes made with ingredients such as pork, lamb, sobrasada, fish, payesa cabbage, red potatoes or almonds, all accompanied by peasant wine and ‘herbes eivissenques’. “We will also show that parties and food are not incompatible, reducing the amount of meat, changing the type of preparation and betting on fish and vegetable products,” said the insular director of Rural and Marine Affairs, Vicent Tur.
On Saturday afternoon and throughout Sunday there will be a series of culinary activities, showcookings and children’s workshops with local products, zero kilometer. In addition, 25 exhibitors will offer a variety of tapas at three euros, made with Ibiza products: fish, slaughter rice, sushi, hamburger from ‘sofrit pagès’ and local recipes recovered.
